AVS Video Tools, AVSVidio Capture, VideoReMaker and AVS DVD to Go and all OnLine Media Technologies Products, don't waste your money people, they use PayPal, (owned by eBay of Dallas Texas) to take your money and run. Also connected with this circle of crooks is Digital River of Eden Prairie, MN, who supplies the CD's of purchesed software.
Six months ago, Risk1 purchased AVS Video Tools using PayPal and to this day it still doesn't work. It won't register and countless emails to AVS Support have proved useless. Complaints to PayPal have also proved to be a waste of time. Riska1 has now taken the issue to eBay officials to get their sales privaleges with PayPal revoked.
Be on ALERT.... do not buy any products from Online Media Technologies, AVS, and Digital River or suffer the same faite

In a coordinated effort to bring Professional Musical Attractions to the growing market emerging in Virtual Reality Platforms, professional Promoters and Presenters are attempting to take this leading edge technology to the next level in announcing a "Vector Broadcast" featuring the Shania Twain Up! series on the Kaneva platform on May 31, 2008.

The weather was perfect on January 31, 2008, not a cloud in the sky when the ribbon was cut opening of Kaneva City to the public. Members poured in all day to visit the new area which includes shops, small parks, an ampa-theater and a museum. Included in the days activities was a well organized fashion show held at the Museum that was hosted by Corelli and KerryAngels. A wealth of other "celeb's" that attended including your favorite "blue tags" and even Greg Frame, co-founder of Kaneva enjoyed the evening.
During the festivities WKTV did a walk-around the entire city, video recording all the decorative and functional features incorporated in the layout that has the look-and-fell of "Greenwich Connecticut" and a simulcast uplink to NBC studios was active most of the day that included the fashion show. A total "more like home" feeling of a small vibrant town was the impression of most members interviewed, a definite gonna come back and spend a lot of time here.
Compliments need to be shared with the Kaneva team as the launch went relatively trouble free hot out of the box. This has been amongst the most anticipated new addition to the landscape of the Kaneva Virtual World and marks tremendous success and a new milestone.

The The Grand Prize 2008 Mardi Gras Float Contest goes to Gameboy432 for his Looney Tunes Float. There were three 2nd place winners, Jay_Larsen for his float with a miniature version of Larsen Gardens, Janielynn for her cake with a giant knife and MrNike for his Golf themed float in his Kaneva Golf Course.
There were six 3rd place winners including BizzyDee for her home, Edimay for Broken Dreams, Carrieg for Mardi Gras, Heaven_29 for Amore, SxYmistY for Club Sin, and MrsCaptainHarley for Victoria's Secret, most of which are show in the slide show below. If your club was locked, no pictures were taken.

It was observed and and recorded that users were not getting registered as logged in throughout the entire evening of a "Party Hour" where users get rewards for attending. A tell-tail clue was a user was able login and teleporting failed causing the user to reboot and log back in only to remain in the default landing zone and not go anywhere.
Later that evening tests proved that a complete uninstall of the client engine followed by a reload with time consuming updates appears to have corrected the problem. Understandably users are not going to use this procedure under the time constraints of a "Party Hour" night and loose out on the "rewards".
Over the past week, many users have complained of not collecting their rewards having attended "Party Hours". The solution may be simple but the odds of collecting rewards for attending "Party Hours" that the server did not record are very slim.

WKTV has received many reports of Missing Rewards from the Saturday Party Hour.
Be patient please, Kaneva has always been good about making sure members get their rewards. It's only 9:30am Atlanta time, and neither StarryNite or Kaneva_Camera have gotten those rewards even having been on from about 8:30pm until 3:00am and loosing connection many times. If this is a server malfunction, and Kaneva knows that you were present during the Party hour, Kaneva has been very good at making sure it will be taken care of. StarryNite
